Clean, sweet romance with a Christian themes.
Starting over after any kind of heartbreak is difficult. Losing a parent is often tragic, and moving to a country you’re not familiar with makes it even more of a challenge. For Joss, the only thing that will pull her out of her otherwise permanent state of hiding behind her family, is love.
A quick, sweet romance filled with love and the hope for the future, we follow Joss as her family helps her heart heal. Ben falls in love with her spirit, and is determined to win her heart. With examples of finding strength in faith, and an old legend about origami, he sets out to do just that.
Sweet romances are a great mood lifter, and this one was wonderful. Full of sugar and sweets, it’s sure to lift any spirit, especially during the holiday season. Well written with plenty of humor and entertaining family dynamics, it was almost like a Hallmark film. The audiobook edition is even better, because the wonderful narrator brings the story to life fabulously. It’s quick enough, you could put it on during a bath, and have an evening of a sweet relaxing love story. Definitely recommended.
*I was given a complimentary audiobook edition of this story, from the author, to listen to in exchange for an honest review.
